Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to answer a request and do the work.

• Estimate form. Your name, your phone number, what you tell us about your door, and the page you sent the form from.
• Phone calls. The number you call from, the time and length of the call, and a recording of the call (see Call recording).
• Text messages. The number you text from and the content of the messages.
• On the job. The service address, details about your door and opener, photos of the work area and the parts involved, and billing records for the work.
• Website use. The site records which buttons are used (for example, that the phone number or the estimate form was used) so we can tell which pages bring in requests. See Cookies and browser storage.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through this website.

• To call or text you back about your request and schedule a visit.
• To diagnose, quote and carry out the work, and to invoice for it.
• To handle warranty questions about work we did.
• To keep business, tax and accounting records.
• To see which pages of this website lead to requests, so we can improve them.

When you send the estimate form, you agree that EverUp Garage Doors may call or text you at the number you give about that request. Message and data rates may apply. We do not use that number for marketing unless you separately agree to it.

To stop texts, reply STOP to any text from us, or tell us by phone or email. You will still be able to reach us, and we may still call you about work already booked.

Calls to and from our business number, (412) 516-3667, may be recorded. You will hear a notice at the start of a recorded call. If you do not want the call recorded, tell us at the start of the call or hang up and email office@everupgaragedoors.com instead.

We record calls so we have an accurate record of what you asked for, the address and details you gave, and what was agreed, and to settle any disagreement about it later.

Recordings are kept for 12 months and then deleted, unless a recording is needed to resolve a dispute, a warranty claim or a legal matter, in which case it is kept until that is resolved. You can ask us to delete a recording of your call sooner by calling or emailing us; we will confirm once it is done.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

We share it only as needed to answer your request and do the work:

• The independent technician company that may perform your job, which receives your name, phone number, address and the details of the job.
• The services that run our phone, email, texting and this website (for example, our phone system, our email provider, and the services that deliver form submissions to us by email and text). They process information on our behalf.
• Our accountant or tax preparer, for billing records.
• Anyone we are required to share it with by law, such as in response to a court order.

This site does not use advertising cookies. It stores two kinds of settings in your own browser, and neither is sent to us: your accessibility settings (text size, contrast, link underlines, motion), and whether you closed this month's offer bar.

The site records button use as described above. If we connect a measurement tool such as Google Analytics to those records, that tool may set its own cookies, and we will name it here before it is turned on.

• Call recordings: 12 months, as described above.
• Estimate requests that do not lead to a job: until the request is handled and for a reasonable period afterward in case you call back about it.
• Records of work we did, including invoices: as long as we need them for warranty questions and for tax and accounting records.

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Call (412) 516-3667 or email office@everupgaragedoors.com. We may need to keep billing records the law requires us to keep, and we will tell you if that applies.

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to answer your request and do the work. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive details through the form.

This site is for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will say so here.
